Thought this group might appreciate the beauty and magic of snow, airplanes, skis and kites. Mark Reed is the owner and CEO of Prism Designs and Prism Kite Technology. He was up visiting me last month and we took the Husky into the Alaska Range for some ski and kite flying. He took all of these photos, except for the ones that include him in the picture, and told me that I was free to use them. I figure I could at least make a plug for his awesome company and kites. It's amazing to me how many people I meet who have flown his kites.

Mark is a fellow pilot and built a Glasair Sportsman. I'm sure many of you have seen it cruising around Alaska every summer. He and his wife, and more recently his daughter, travel to AK from WA each year to take a break from the busy city life.

I won't say much more about these pictures other than we flew into the mountains, landed up high in the snow, flew some kites, and marveled at the beauty this world has to offer those of us who can reach out and get to it. Hope you enjoy.
