Have you modified your aircraft? STC? STOL Kit? Major rebuild from just a data plate?

Skymaule, we deserve more!

Skymaule, I hope you intend to chronicle your interior refurb in those pictures. I'm a big fan of the refurbishing process in people's airplanes. Looks like a lot of work/fun.

Appears some lipstick is going on the old girl. Hope you can tell us more about it.

Love your seats.

Really like the seats! They are look like belong in a BMW! Also checked out your pic gallery! Wow man, one lucky dude!

One day I will take a summer trip and go visit some of those mountain strips in your pics. So inspirational! Truly Gods Country!

I know your a married dude, but are there any female pilot hotties that fly the backcountry? lol

I met woman named Ramona Cox a few years ago that flew a turbo 206 into the backcountry. If you can stand to look at her is another story. :D

Check out her website,

Unfortunately, the last time she emailed me, I think she said she had moved off to some place in Central America with her boyfriend.

Mark,

That's real nice!

Was in Bis today and am kicking myself for not walking across the tarmac today and taking a peek. :x

Skychick looks like a real "cougar" of the backcountry..lol not too bad atol.

That interior is awesome. On one hand its cool to admire, but then it seems i would worry about actually using it and getting it dirty..like a new car! Funny how you baby the new car, then 8-10 years later its on its last leg and your having the kidney foundation tow it away or pawning it off to some college kid on craigslist..lol

I think it would be awesome if more older planes were updated cosmetically, but unless you do alot of the work yourself and shop smart, you rarely see the money back. bummer

I have envisioned custom leather wrapped seats in a cessna 150. Kinda like a corvette since they are also short bucket seats. imagine climing into that bird and having your back and butt be all wraped up!
Instead the worn out vinyl fake leather is cheap and flimsy, no back support and your tailbone hits the metal tube support, alot!
Maybe one day...I'll have alot of money to throw at a project like that!

Hey skymaule,

Any chance you know anything about this 172 interior that is for sale in Bismark? I want my plane to look purty too!

kevbert,
I'll find out what I can. I'll see if I can get a look at it and find out where it was done at.

Thanks for the kind comments everyone.

Very, very nice interior. Looks like excellent attention to detail. Better than new. Did they paint or powder coat the door and seat frames?

Zane, there is a little bib in the pouch behind the seat for those that need help with their Johnny.
