Skywagon steps

I'm curious as to when Cessna went from the early "L" style boarding step to the later "J" style on the 180/185 series? I don't see that spelled out in the year-by-year model changes info from the old Stancil Enterprises / Skywagons-r-us website.

Just happened to have the 180/185 part manual out this morning so I looked it up. Change started with serial number 18051876 and 185-1301. Those are the first 1968 models.
