Smiley Creek Camping Question

Are there grills available at the Smiley Creek campsites?

As I recall, yes. they even supply the wood.

They even have hot showers and clean restrooms and 200 yards to a lodge with returanat and drinks...........They also have a courtesy car avaliable. Stanley is only 20 miles or so lots of night life there.

Great airport, great facilities, as everyone has noted. It's high, so pay attention to density altitude, but it's pretty wide open, so no canyons to deal with, etc.

I came in there at about 4 in the afternoon a few years ago at about 250# beklow gross. It was 85 degrees when I landed and DA was not on my mind that much. I found out that it is just as important when landing as when taking off. I pulled the power and droped like a rock. Did not take long to realize that I needed some power to keep from bending a few things.
