This is a video I filmed early last summer. Please excuse the shakiness, as this was shot from my old mount location on the side of the vertical. Makes all the bars look like I'm shaking my plane to bits, but really its just the fabric shaking. I need to finish editing some of the shots I took after I moved the mount to the strut. Any how, this is just me flying along the Smoky and Wapiti rivers, landing a bunch of bars, water skiing for the first time, and finishes with one of my favorite landings to visit some river boaters. Hope you all enjoy.

Did a similar thing with a Citabria last summer, great perspective, camera shake too, but settled down at higher speed.
We're you as anxious as I to see if the camera was still there when you landed?

How are you guys attaching the camera to the tail? I'd love to try this perspective.

Phil, I just stuck one of the GoPro sticky mounts to the fabric, as close as I could to the structural tubing to help eliminate as much of the shake as possible.
I wasn't to worried about it still being there as I have mounted it the same way on a Cessna 150 and shot a bunch of video. Works well besides the camera shake.

OK, Thanks. I think I'll add a pop rivet to mine just to be on the safe side. After all, it's right in the prop blast on my plane.

Method I used was to bend a piece of 1/4 inch aluminum to resemble a taco so it would snugly fit over the leading edge of the vert stab. Drilled and screwed a go pro mount to it .
Plenty of tape to protect fabric then shove the "taco" on (tight fit) and a little more tape to
for good measure.
