So Cal free landing by student pilot

I caught a glimpse of the student pilot on a newcast and googled her, wow  Time to be a sexist pig for a moment :

Holy shit!!! Check out the babe in the Diamond that had the forced freeway landing. A 70 hr. student pilot, no doubt the instructor had it rough, being crammed in the narrow cockpit with her for hours on end. Wait a minute. isn't 70 hrs. a lot of hours to be a student? Think he was dragging it out? You could check out her face book page for more pictures of her, but that would be a little creepy, at least i felt a little pervy doing so #-o http://www.google.com/webhp?sourceid=ch ... gree+pilot

Back to being politically correct. Though the headlines were "student pilot lands on freeway", she clearly states the instructor made the landing, too bad, it would have made a better story if she had. I believe, though not sure, that Diamond may be Rotax powered? Maybe 0-200? Sounds like maybe fuel related. Anyway, great it turned out like it did, and I especially like her saying she was going flying, or at least wanted too, the next day.

And in case you're feeling a little crude facebook stalking that chick, here's an interview from a little while back. Speaking of creepy, get a load of the guy interviewing her....

She's about a 7 on a scale of 10 around these parts :)

Being involved in aviation brings that up to a 8, to be sure.

Being 100% cool about a forced landing, on camera, and saying she wants to go flying again tomorrow... immediate upgrade to 10+ :)

Re: So Cal free landing by student pilot

Yeah, I just did the same, 0-200. I think that model of Diamond used to come with either the Rotax or the Cont.?

So much for the aircraft.... however it does look like the student pilot came originally equipped with all the available options  She gets extra credit (as if she needed it) for NOT appearing endlessly on TV afterwards, just the on the scene footage which was unavoidable. I'd bet she had the networks wanting a first hand account, and half expected to see her on the major network news show the next morning after being flown to New York. Interesting observation EZ, she'd be a big damn deal in Inkom :P

The first DA-20's used the 80 and 100hp Rotax, from 1998 on the DA-20 has the Cont IO-240.

For a second I thought she was being interviewed by the Emperor on the Death Star.

I passed her on the way to work Monday afternoon.

Turns out she's an actress.

Whatever you do, don't google her stage name, Alexis Ford.

At least not in the presence of minors.

Here may be the news story that some of us could not get in the first post

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MziG9CTXmJA

would be nice if someone knew how to delete the posting to some Bitch broad ford alexis
NOT WHAT WE NEED HERE IN MY OPINION.

MAYBE SOME ONE KNOW HOW TO DELETE THE WHOLE POST OR AT LEAST RELEGATE IT TO THE OLD HOT AIR PAGES - CRINKLE IT UP AND TOSS IT DOWN AN OUTHOUSE HOLE.

CHRIS C

PS does hot air still exist and is it possible to delegate a single post to it - or just delete the link.

It is better to be late in this world, than early in the next.

I bet she's had more stick time than 70 hours. She sure greased it in there.
