Flies great and the performance with the PPonk is phenomenal. Plenty of grunt off the water or land, and the STOL lets you get nice and slow into short fields and waters. The new Scimitar is smoother and much quieter than the old Mac 2-blade 88” and the power is outstanding. Easiest taildragger I have ever flown- tracks straight and true. I live on a grass strip, and mostly frequent grass and snow-covered strips, so all the tires are excellent. As for damage history, like some of us of a certain age this airplane had a wild time in the 1970’s, with four events, the first of which was the Cessna pilot trying to deliver the aircraft.
Complete logbooks. Based in Minnesota for most of it’s life, though I believe it had a brief spell in Idaho. Flies regularly, times will change. It’s been a blast, but a distant new grandson has me hunting for a cross-country twin that can fly over really big rocks. Thanks for looking.

people are shocked at how the prices of these birds keeps rising... but one thing is for sure, no way you could build that bird for what your asking! Looks like a fun airplane!

Good luck with the sale!

Yup. I looked at a really flashy 180 down in Park Rapids, MN last year that they wanted nearly $400k for. Part of the problem is that they haven't made these airplanes for so many decades, and no manufacturers have put in the effort to produce a comparable product. That and the amazing capability and performance.

Thanks!
