Some server issues

Seems that the database server was having some issues today around 1pm and was down for about an hour. I guess it's back up now. Sorry 'bout that.

Note: I make a practice of highlighting and CTRL+C copying my posts before I submit them. I do that on all sizeable posts I make on any site. If the site goes down right at that instant, I won't have to totally rewrite whatever I wrote. I just paste it into a text file for later use. Nothing is more heartbreaking that writing your most genius comeback or piece of prose, and then losing it.

Half a century spent proving “it is better to be thought a fool than to open your mouth and remove all doubt.”

Another web host outtage today...looks like we were down the whole afternoon. Not much I could do as the host servers were under "Denial of Service" attacks, where basically hackers inundate them with as much traffic as possible and make the servers error and croak.

Looks like everything is fine now. Who know, it may continue. F()ckin hackers!

Don't be so pessimistic Zane. Maybe it was all legit. Maybe it was just all those Maule drivers from Johan's place looking for a place to roost.

Major host problems today! Their network was down for several hours. Sorry for the downtime. It happens. Luckily all I had to do was sit around and let them do their thing.

Sorry folks, there was a mix up in the host configuration while making some changes this morning. While enabling SSL for secure card transactions, the regular non-secure site configuration was hosed.

8 hours later, we're back up.
