It's all over the national media, all I can add is that one of their business's is truck stops, and maybe Whee can chime in here, (and correct anything I get wrong) but the first time I walked into the one place the family ran (KJ's, off Hwy 20, north of IF) I was blown away. The "motif" was aviation thru and thru. A simulated Corsair (not sure about that, but a warbird of some type, I know what a Corsair looks like just can't remember the artwork) seemed to be bursting through the wall, really an amazing piece of art work and NOT what you expect to see walking into a truck stop! I asked the cashier what was up with the aviation thing, and she laughed and just said the owners were huge aviation people. My local media is full of the story, the family and their many business's were extremely well known.
So, I am really sorry to hear about this crash, and am still clueless as to whether or not it was a charter or one of their own planes?
I've commented on this before here I believe, but there is a big connection to aviation and all the major truck stop lines in my area. Maverik stores, Flying J, KJ's, all have major aviation roots in one way or the other. Not sure about Loves. Flying J had this happen:
