Spectacular WW2 Photos

This was forwarded to me by a friend who also loves WW2 aviation history. These are really great early color photos of the home front, with a lot of classic "Rosie the Riveter" photos, aircraft and engine manufacturing photos, and more. What a find !

Most of us think about World War 2 in black and white, or computer colorized films on the History Channel. These beautiful color photos bring the past to life in a way that computerized graphics and modern movies cannot. These photos have soul :)

Excellent large format ASA25 Kodachrome Transparencies from WW2 homefront

Flying is dangerous. If you think otherwise, you are new at this sport. Mind the gravity not the gap.

Re: Spectacular WW2 Photos

Not only Kodachrome but large format to boot! Pretty amazing. You'll never see that film again. It's gone. I'd love to hear comments today by some of those girls immortalized so long ago.

Thank you. I really enjoyed those. They made me miss the days of shooting film, and wish I had been of the WW2 generation even more.
