Spinner damage

Have problems with your aircraft? Maybe just questions about how best to tune or adjust something? Regs or maintenance? Need to know the best way to do something?

I’ve saved some pretty gnarly looking spinners just by cold working them. Stop drill the cracks or take it somewhere and have it welded. Bummer it was just balanced so nicely!

The Cessna dealer here sent it off to someone in Wisconsin. Maybe you know who that is.

No but I would be interested to know! The only places I could think is Wag-Aero or there is a small company operating out of Central County (Iola) airport that are well known for restoring vintage aircraft.

I got my spinner back and they did an awesome job on the repair. They also welded a couple cracks on 2 of the forward holes. Cessna sent it to K&K Precision Welding in East Troy, WI. Highly recommend! Close to you Newbizor!

They only stripped enough paint for the repair. I stripped the rest when it got back. Prime and paint soon.
