Spinner for a Cessna R172K with McCauley 2A34C203 prop?

Need a replacement spinner for a Cessna R172K Hawk XP that has an 80" McCauley 2A34C203/90DCA-10 propeller. Looks the same as a pointed spinner on a C182 with an 82" McCauley 2A34C203/90DCA-8 prop, but, not sure if those spinners are interchangeable? Does it matter that one hangs on a Continental IO-360, while the other comes from an O-470? Or if there are other aircraft, such as a Maule, etc, that share the same spinner?

Only need the spinner, but if necessary, and for the right price, may be willing to buy a used 90DCA-8 prop, that's been removed, in order to get the spinner that comes with it?

Thanx, Dave

Not being a mechanic, I rely on my very experienced IA for such issues--and he seems to be able to find which parts are interchangeable pretty easily. So that would be my recommendation--check with your IA. No matter what, though, you're going to find spinners and backing plates to be frightfully expensive.
