I have to head to Spokane for a wedding at the end of February. My grandma has never been up in a small plane. Shes not getting any younger, so I wanted to take her up for a spin while I am in town.

Do any of you Spokane area guys have an FBO or individual you would recommend? Felts Field or Spokane International?

Is there anything up at Deer Park?

The FBO at Felts rented me a Cessna 182RG for the CFI ride. They also had a couple 172s available. Nice city field with a perfect airport cafe.

Felts Field Aviation still has a Cessna 172 for rent, they had a gear up landing on their CE-182RG last week. Spokane Airways at International has a Cessna 172, and there is one Cessna 172 for rent in CoeurD'Alene for rent at "Action Aviation" too. Not sure about Deer Park?

I learned to fly at Felts in 2005. Used to be a great bunch of people with decent rates. I heard they downsized quite a bit though. If you get desperate there's a pretty active FBO in Pullman KPUW about an hour South by car from Spokane.

Boundary county (Bonners Ferry ID)airport has a couple of Cessna's for rent

Called Felts Field Aviation and Spokane Airways out at GEG today. Sounds like Felt Aviation has the best rates but only one plane, a C172 thanks to the gear up landing. Just hafta hope for nice weather!
