Losing another great airport in St Louis Two grass runways and one paved. A great little airport with lots of personality. Apparently the owner of the land is Ill and the family is licking their chops already over selling the property.

I fly by there every week (tomorrow in fact), I have never landed there though. There is another paved airport just 5 miles away but it does suck anytime we lose one.

KSET is 5 air miles but another 15 minute drive from 3SQ. I liked 3SQ for the Staff and convience from my house but it lacked hanger space for my winter maint so I had to get hanger space in KSET and hated driving past one airport to get to the other. The Old airport atomspher reminded me of growing up at the airport.
