Stopped by Sporty's today

So, the local aviation club scheduled a flyout to Urbana, Ohio (I74) for lunch and a tour of the B-25 Museum. A lot of the guys backed out because of the threatening TAF from last night:

So, they called it off last night and we didn't go to Urbana. Well, I suggested to my friend that I was going with that we not waste the day, and fly somewhere! My days off are few and far between so we decided to check the weather again this morning and figure it out then.

Well, we met at the airport and it looked like we had some options, and he said why don't we go to Sporty's? Clermont County (I69). He had a few things he wanted to pick up so we decided to go. I asked him if he knew that they were having their fly in, and he had no idea. We said screw it and went anyway. I figured that it would be crazy there but it really wasn't too bad.

Now, once again, this is far from backcountry flying so don't get all worked up. Its just a TR!
