Started to watch the first one..........And turned it off! It can't possibly be good enough to endure 'Katie'. She grates me like not much else. She is the epitome of 'know it all, push it upon us' extremely liberal media (that puts its arm out of joint patting itself on the back). It used to be that media postured as objective, though far from it. Anymore they just ram it down our throats. Somehow having that done in a sickening sweet way is more than I can take.

I didn't watch it to see K. C. I watched it to learn more about Sullenberg and his crew and family. I enjoyed that part.

I think it's really cool that he's getting all the good attention, and especially cool that aviation is getting the first positive news coverage it has in a long while. My only worry is that he's getting a little over-exposed.

The beauty of the thing...

...is the consummate professionalism with which Captain Sullenberger handled the questions. He didn't play the silly putty game. I am proud to say that my pilot's union(I retired at age 60) brought him to DFW....put him in our T.V. studio there. Our pilot media experts conducted mock interviews,taught him how to handle the questions and be comfortable in that invironment.

They tell me that he didn't need much coaching. The Flight attendants also reminded us of their safety responsiblilty which is grossly overlooked by the industry and the public.

True grit all of them. FA,who was in the back by herself, was showing signs of post traumatic stress. Understandable.

Nice for he public/media to acknowledge that pilots are not just bus drivers and the airplanes don't fly themselves. How much are 155 human lives worth?
