Sunday Cruise- Idaho Style

Opted for a turkey sandwich and a camp fire vs football and more left overs.

Nice, I like the small window when you came in to land from the back seat.

Very nice. Great time to be in the woods, elk and deer have moved down etc.
The rubber water bars appear to have been improved/ backfilled. A year ago, it was pretty rough over the bars.....especially in the 182.
I know they fixed cabin creek’s water bars but not sure about soldier.

Nice work! What a gorgeous day. Is your heat pretty good in the back seat of that -12?

Heat is not as good as it should be. I'm lucky Kathy is a "Trooper" :D

A great time of year to make that flight! I was in Copper Basin about then, nothing like being able to mountain fly all day with no thermal buildups etc.!

122.9 was veeeery quiet also. Spring and Fall are my favorite times to fly.

Ya...summer in Idaho is unbearable with the radio chat. I feel bad for loosing some situational awareness for doing so, but I just can't monitor 122.9 from late June to early September without pulling my hair out and slamming my fist into the dash, so I turn the radio to 121.5 and turn on all my exterior lights...
