... and, those that pound their guns into plows, will plow for those who don't.
Landed there a bunch with (and without) my father as a teenager in a Super Cub. Due to the slope, the difficult part was to keep enough energy and land long enough to make the top without major power applications. You could have easily landed any light aircraft there.
Now the LB Gliderport outside of Lexington, VA was a different story........ Wow!
Oh, and my Father, Melvin Grubb, a world class aerial photographer took that picture. The amount of his images that are floating around the Internet without payment or attribution is really amazing.
