What is the story with landing on Table Rock in southern Oregon?
I had heard certain user groups had placed rocks all over the strip to prevent landings.... but I just saw this picture posted on FB by a friend... and so it appears to be clear as of Oct. 30th 2013...

Tyler Adams, aka Chosstronaut, perished in a mid-air collision October 12, 2014. He was an enthusiastic and beloved contributor and he will be missed greatly.
The airstrip is BLM... And yes, they do not want anyone landing on it..... Plus a bunch of idiots like to throw really big rocks on it..... What you see in the pic is the walk trail that goes right through the middle of the old runway... It's only ably 5 feet wide or so, the runway is more like 30 wide all the way down... Land at your own risk for the most part, and watch for rocks, those suckers are volcanic and are sharp as hell... Will cut up your tires real quick...

Such a bummer. I would love to land up there, have a picnic, then off I go. I always overfly it when I am out and about.

Chosstronaut! Your little Savannah has already been there! Here it is touching down the mains on the south end of the runway a few years ago:

I glad to see you and Steve have been having fun with the plane.
