Re: texas pre buy?

Texas is a BIG place. But off the top of my head, two come to mind:

Steve Pierce, Pierce Aero, Graham TX. Steve is one of the most knowledgeable Supercub guys in the lower 48, or anywhere else. He's a busy guy.

Scott Warren, Warren Aircraft. Cubcrafters dealer, lots of experience.

And dudestickle, respectfully, you might get more/better response on the Supercub website, www.surpercub.org plus it has excellent technical resources and archives of just about any Supercub question you'd think to ask. Lots of folks hang out on both that website and this one, just a different spin on things, both great sources. Good luck on your quest.

Thanks. cubscout

Dudestickle

I used to live in Del Rio and know the airplane, owner and the mechanics in the area. PM has been sent with my phone number if you want to call and discuss.

Tommy Mitchell, is the owner of Rio Grande Aviation in Del Rio. He is a very knowledgable, honest, high quality IA. I have worked with my for several years, he has done work for me and I can't recommend him highly enough. He is not a SuperCub expert, but would be able to give you a quality pre-buy (annual) jus the same. I have flown this aircraft several times. Good all around basic 150HP Cub. It is a good honest, working ranch airplane. Not fancy or sporting any upgrades, rigged very well though. Owner is an honest straight shooting West Texas rancher, former Beech-18 pilot and still current Texas Lawman.
