Twin engine amphib flying boat with sticks? I like it!

Here's a review from AOPA magazine:

Low wing seaplane??
Sure you can land it, but how the hell do you get out of it? Can't get near a dock!

Like any other hull amphibian, easiest to put the gear down and taxi up a boat ramp.

Or you could do the dumbbell thing I see every year at the boat dock with power boats, where someone is on the bow and attempts to step onto the dock as the "captain" gently touches the bow to the dock. Of course, what I usually see is that the "captain" not so gently bangs into the dock, throwing the bow rider onto the dock, or alternatively the "captain" throws it into reverse too hard before getting there, tossing the bow rider into the water before reaching the dock.

That's funny Cary, Here's how it dock's from BCPilotguy's AOPA link

"Docking is not quite as easy with a Be-103 as with high-wing airplanes. Instead of pulling alongside a dock, you must maneuver the airplane to a corner of a dock so that one edge is alongside the forward fuselage and the other is near the wing. It is not ideal, but it works."

That aircraft has had a wheels up landing with no injuries and no engine/prop damage, and a gear down water landing with no injuries. I saw it tackle boat wakes with no problems at all.

A lot more robust than you'd guess just by looking at it.
