Soarinhiggy,
I also looked at Citabria's in all their incarnations, but alas the old yellow feathers showed up again. I love tandem tube and fabric taildraggers, but the insurance company and my bank certainly don't feel the same way as I do. Some day, when I win the lottery or something, I will own a bright yellow Husky Pup.
I too am playing the waiting game to retrieve my new toy. It seems like the gods of weather have conspired against me to prevent crossing the cascades in anything shy of a jumbo jet. Of course a C-150 is quite a ways shy of jumbo anything, but still...I mean come on weather, let me fly!

Where's the plane at now? This morning, the entire Western side of the Cascades were visible. I know, work gets in the way of flying. I too made my observation from the ground. Managed to get up for just over an hour yesterday afternoon and look at all the water that was everywhere.
Now were socked in with 20-30 mph wind and more heavy rain. Yippee.
