Tyler Adams, aka Chosstronaut, perished in a mid-air collision October 12, 2014. He was an enthusiastic and beloved contributor and he will be missed greatly.

My birthday is the fourth... always has been fun. No credit to me. I was just in the right vagina at the right time I suppose.

Flying is dangerous. If you think otherwise, you are new at this sport. Mind the gravity not the gap.

Nice Evan! I love that over-the-shoulder view. One of the best in-cockpit mounts I've seen.

Great Video

I noticed you are wearing the David Clark DC Pro-X headsets (at least it looks like you are, could be wrong). I really like the idea of the small form factor, but was not sure if they were good for GA. What is your PIREP on them?

I always liked your video where you were flying through the dunes with the camera mounted behind you. I liked being able to see the throttle action.

Zane did one (or a few) in the carbon cub where you can see the stick movement.

I like videos that show that stuff! Hell, if it's got airplanes flying I like it no matter what!

I love the Pro-X DCs. They are so much lighter than my Lightspeed Sierras. They sit on top of your ear rather than cupping around them. (better airflow and fit glasses under easier)

The trick is to get the seal right on your ear to get the full effect of the noise canceling ability. My airplane has absolutely no insulation and the Rotax creates some interesting harmonics. After flying across the country with an ANC headset I wouldn't fly without them ever again. And I would put the DC pro x up against a $1000 headset (LS Zulu) any day. The comfort on the ear is almost as important as the ANC characteristics.

The main thing about them to me is how light the feel is on the ear. My girlfriend can't wear any headset that goes around the ear because it makes her sick due to the pressure behind her ear. These also make it possible for her to comfortably wear a headset because of the "on ear" fit

The Pro X feels like deerskin driving gloves for your ears.

Hope that helps.
