Might have been mate but i didnt see it. If its still for sale though keep an eye up for one barley used kidney for sale in the market place! Your a doctor arnt you battson? What other bits or organs dont i need to fly it because there all priced for quick sale!

The hangar where I keep my Maule is also home to a Murphy Super Rebel. It is essentially a Moose with a horizontally opposed engine. It is a massive airplane. It makes a 185 look like a toy. That said, it is also a beast to maintain and is expensive to operate. It is parked in the back of the hangar because it doesn't fly very often.

I flew an early Moose mounted on PeeKay amphibious floats. It was a good performer, but it desperately needed more vertical tail......it was not fun in a crosswind. I recommended to the builder that he figure out a way to install more vertical tail surface. I see this one has both finlets on the end of the horizontal stab AND a ventral fin, so apparently they had the same experience. Otherwise, I liked the way the plane flew, and the Vedenyev engine made lots of power.

This one is also on PeeKay 3500s, and this plane does well in the water on those floats, though in this video, he was obviously light.

I have the smaller brother, the Rebel, and can't say enough good things about it. 4" more shoulder room than a C172 and gobs of panel space. My wife and I can take out the battery and camp in the back of it. Just an all around great utility aircraft. I would like to move up to a moose when kids come about, but the price jumps up quick to operate the Moose with the Russian radial.
