The most glorious shovel
Links to general aviation backcountry flying-oriented videos. It can be yours or stuff you find on the internet. Please no airline/military.
Dig, chop, excavate, slice, julienne, snip, open bottles, twist, paddle, hand-to-hand battle.
These Chinese guys sure make this thing look impressive, one minute digging a latrine and slicing potato chips the next.

Half a century spent proving “it is better to be thought a fool than to open your mouth and remove all doubt.”
Great tool. Mine only folds up into a carry case. Where do we order this thing?
A friend of mine, Syl Melroe told me he had a helluva time selling the original Melroe Bobcat over there even after a perfect demonstration. His demonstration was followed by theirs, fifty eager for work Chinese with shovels could keep up with his Bobcat and do it a lot cheaper.

Lynn Sanderson (Dirtstrip) passed away from natural causes in May 2013. He was a great contributor and will be missed dearly.
Ding Hao Zane!! Nice find.
...but dammit, the ruler on the handle is metric. How the hell am I supposed to use that??
Boy, I hope we never have to fight a war with those guys from China. Not to worry. They probably won't lend us the money anyway.

Guess you could always grab a tape measure and put your own ruler on it. That's a pretty nifty tool though.

Looks like a US Army entrenching tool that someone sharpened one edge of and managed to make a saw tooth on the other edge. I'm betting it's actually just about as useful also. Unless you sharpen the thing every ten minutes.
There is no such thing as a "multi-tool" in matter of fact. At least not one that's really good at a lot of tasks.

I wonder if you can use it as a compass?

Ball peen hammer.
A 16 oz ball-peen hammer with a paint brush on the other end of the handle would be my all-purpose tool: "beat to fit, paint to match."
