Seems amazon is turning into eBay with the influx of cheap chinese crap, I got a GA to RW headset adapter and it works, but gets loose easy and starts to crackly, I push it back together tight, fly for a few hours, rinse and repeat, and just feels cheap.

In semi related news, sending my light speeds Zulu 2s out for a Zulu 3 conversion to get the Kevlar wires on them, as that’s where they always have a issue, the rubber splits and I have to send them out, LS is cool and fixes them free of charge, but I till have to use the backup headset while they are out, hopefully this $300 upgrade ends that issue.



Is there a similar Kevlar braided GA -> RW headset adapter using quality connectors out there? Or someone who could make one up for a reasonable amount?

Don't know, but I have gone to LS helmet kits in my helmets, and they all have the Z3 braided cord. I can't think of a harsher environment, or harsher handler on average I'm in and out of my helmet 15 - 20 times a day, but haven't had a single wire related problem since.
Have about 3 years on the first set. In fact where it goes into the ear cups, they unbraid and have all these tiny wires, and unique plugs, and at a glance you'd think... ya, there's no way that's going to last...
But so far, they've been the single best helmet mod I've ever done. Phone interface is crystal clear, bluetooth music easy peasy...
