Tieton State Airport 4S6 (Rimrock Lake) Drive-rep
Did you fly somewhere cool, take photos, and feel like telling the tale to make us drool from the confines of our offices? Post them up!
I drove by Tieton State Airport (4S6) on Rimrock Lake on Monday. The field was very firm (surprising considering the rain we had over the weekend) and smooth. It was about 80 degrees at 11 AM. The grass didn't look like it has been cut in the last few weeks, but nothing out there was taller than about 8". And the bathroom was clean. A good day.

Looks beautiful. I bet it's in prime shape right now. It would be such a gem if there was no road access. I was there last July and the campground was packed.

Half a century spent proving “it is better to be thought a fool than to open your mouth and remove all doubt.”

Cessna Skywagon -- accept no substitute!
Usually dirt bikes and Jeeps, cheap beer and loud noise. It can get rowdy on the weekends.
