If they made a new 210 it would be a lot more than a new 206. After you had it for a couple of years it would not have gone down in value a whole lot. It would not be worth less than 450,000. Get that plane and put in all new glass panel, all new leather etc etc and you would still be in for half price.

What would a 185 with that many hours be worth. Of course a 210 would have to be what does it for you.

The T-210 was a great performer. IIRC the speed of a Bonanza with the utility of a Cessna.

So if I'm reading this right, aside from a brief recent test flight it hasn't flown since 1978? I get the barn find thing, but I'd much rather have a plane with a few thousand hours that had flown somewhat regularly.

Reading the Description, it looks like they did a bit of work to bring her up to snuff. I think she looks great!

Great example of the type. Just wish it was bush-worthy.

It would do OK on smoother grass strips.

I've had my friend's Bonanza with 260 HP into Johnson Creek and it did fine. I think a T210 has 300-310 HP so even with a speed oriented wing It would likley do well also.

The payload of a 210 is high so I bet on the lighter side it would get in and out of 2,000'-2,500' in the mountains well enough if the pilot respected the approach speed.
