Yes I did. That was the "boneyard." Hung out with the A&P there all afternoon waiting out some storms. He had some good stories to tell.

I used to live in Nampa ID and was fortunate to know Tom Dale (former mayor, private pilot).

Looking at your satellite track brought back some memories of snowmobiling Pilot Peak northeast of Idaho City. Also used to drive past Garden Valley airstrip on our way to backpacking in the Sawtooths. Very jealous of your trip...keep the clips coming!
