Toy Airplanes

I have way too much inventory, so I am trying to unload some stuff, or to see what is hot, if anything. I have had this tri-motor for maybe ten years. I bought it with this story, but am not 100% sure it's the true story?? (A Hollywood movie prop for a 1930's movie)?

I guess the reason I did buy it is that we had this neighborhood pilot who was at the time the oldest active pilot in the world (102 yrs). Among a lot of things he did, one was that he was the first guy to fly passengers across the Alleghany Mountains at night in a TWA Ford Tri-Motor.

Anyway, have any of you ever seen one of these? (There is a recent new smaller version on the market that confuses people).
