Hi All and Merry Christmas,
I am looking for any information regarding installing, and flying skis on my Tri-Pacer. Have any of you done this before? What is involved? How much will it cost? Does anyone have pics of this installation? Are there any issues with doing this that are unfavorable?

If you convert it to a PA20 there is all kinds of options. I haven't seen any 22s on skis but Im sure it can be done.

about 10yrs ago a friend of mine in northern maine had a tripacer that he had floats in summer and skis in winter. he had no problems with either with the 160 and a borer prop. flew it one day on floats doing stalls and with the stall warning light/buzzer going off it was still climbing. you will enjoy flying on skis , just remember plan your stop , you have no brakes
