Re: Trip to the Duster Strip

Thanks......I needed that. Minus 10F here and snow on the way. I could feel the heat. It'll be another three months before the waters wet again. Make more vids.

Re: Trip to the Duster Strip

The video looks like there's a fair amount of up elevator to hold the tail down in level flight; maybe some ballast in the back to compensate? Sure would improve the efficiency of the tail feathers. What engine do you have?

Nice video!

Florida is great in the winter as long as you don't miss playing in the snow...especially as you get older!

Re: Trip to the Duster Strip

The up elevator was when I was slowing it down for the approach to landing and also doing slower than cruise flight. The engine is an O-360.

Re: Trip to the Duster Strip

Great! I put on the bluetooth headphones and upped the volume. If I had a heat pad I'd sit on it and pretend I was there. More vids.

Great videos, AWSOME performance on your mount. You ought to get up my way when the waters subside and let’s play on the bars, You will have a blast.
