Truckee New Years Even Fly-Out Pics

Who was flying the red white and blue 172? It looks familiar. It wasn't 7876U was it?

I had to miss it because the fog didn't burn off Oakdale until about 1pm. Stinking valley.

Re: Truckee New Years Even Fly-Out Pics

Kevin,
I think you need to organize a huge Nor Cal fly in camp out. Some place big with room for lots of planes and tents and stuff.

We need to camp at Frenchmans as a base and fly for 2-3 days. Would be sick. Something for everyone. Cap it off with a night out to dinner in Tahoe. Would be epic.

It was a great day of flying. What looked to be a couple planes gathering for a day of flying turned into 11 planes all getting after it!

Looking forward to doing it again.

Here is a link to the rest of my photos from today.

Re: Truckee New Years Even Fly-Out Pics

I've never been to Frenchman's but count me in!

Kev I was wondering why and when you go back to Alaska to run the biz or are you doing that from Tahoe? Are you waiting for longer days?

I am headed south this coming Wednesday. The destination is Palm Desert/Phoenix. I was thinking about an overnight at the Chicken Strip but I am flexible. I am guessing most BCP guys are working mid week. But if not and you want to meet, eat, fly, let me know.

Happy New Year!

That's a good idea, but I wish I'd had time to work on it a little earlier in the year so we could be flipping pages right now. It takes time to compile the photos, get them from the printer, and ship them out.

I will start a new thread.

Zane,

I wasn't trying to deligate anybody some work, I know how it is to be covered up!

Just wanting to show appreciation for all the pictures.

A friend always told me the "honey do's" didn't bother him a bit, it was the "while your at it's" that kicked his ass.
