Trying out my new gopro at work - not epic, just adequate

I bought a gopro hero7 last winter/spring when they had a promo on it for a good price. The stabilized video is what enticed me. I'm not a photographer, or technical in any manor relating to videos/pictures. Had not touched it since I bought it but the other day I had to do 2 loads of people out of a little lodge strip across the lake and thought it could be my chance to try it out. I tried some clips on wide angle mode and some on linear. I have not decided what I prefer. I really like the stabilization. Not a gimbal so it still moves with the plane on the macro level, but runway bumps are smoother, no major vibrations - I like it. Guess I should get one of those prop filters, but not sure how well the plane will fly without a prop. I discovered that Windows 10 has a "Video Editor" program built in so I used that to make the video. When I outputted the video it asked me what format - small, medium, or large. That's all. No description of each resolution or frame rate. Small, medium, or large. I went medium. Turns out it's 720p. Adequate.

Disclaimer: I am NOT a Big Tire Cowboy, Fat Tire Cowboy, or Small Tire Cowboy, I was not invited to Oshkosh STOL demo, nor do I have any YouTube followers. It pains me to say I'm not even affiliated with Ohio Bush Planes (wish I was). But damn it feels good to get paid for this stuff.

If someone correctly guesses the airplane make/model I'll donate $12.34 to the fool's errand that is BCP. I would wager that it's the only one of it's type working part 135.

You own a pacer AND you a full see side view of this plane and you think it's a pacer?!?!? I'd say you owe me $12.34 for that guess

How about a Stinson 108-2?

I'd second that. Pacer top cowl. Short wing. No jury strut...

Zane these guys are losing you revenue.

Not a pacer, not a tri-pacer. Not a 108-2, but the white fuselage parked on the side of the lodge strip is a 108, not sure if -1 or -2.

It's a Stinson 10-A. I think between someone saying 105 and someone saying Voyager (which when googled, comes up with the 10A line not the 108 line of planes), I think you all have it. I didn't know about these planes until I started working here.

Does that still have a 90hp Franklin? How's it do? Looks like a neat plane!

Re: Trying out my new gopro at work - not epic, just adequat

That's pretty rad. Not a very common type Stinson. Bushwheels can make most mundane airplanes look badass.

I thought the video perspective was good. I enjoyed no talking heads spouting their inane blabber. :D That looks like a pretty fun job down there.

I'm just not a fan of the spongy stabilized look in the cockpit. I find it really distracting. 1080p would also be welcome, as would enough ND filter to blur the prop.

I demand the $12.34 be paid immediately. My army of experts was close enough. It will supplement my $3 in Youtube earnings for Fool's Errand nicely.

Re: Trying out my new gopro at work - not epic, just adequat

It has an O-320 in it by FA, performs well. Those takeoffs and landings were me (235lbs), 180lb pax, and about 50lb of gear. The useful load is very low as it is, however since it's operated under part 135, 14 CFR 91.323 allows for a 15% gross weight increase (250 lbs) which really matches the performance. It takes the useful from 450lbs to 700lbs.

Come to think of it, me either....

I suspect it has something to do with the fact that I suck at flying and am known to be a poser.
