Turbo 210 down in the Owyhees

Unfortunately I heard about this on Sunday through family members who knew the fatally injured pilot. News channels are slowly gathering details for public consumption.

From what I gather, the experienced c210 pilot was giving 2 pax a ride they purchased through a local charity raffle. Everyone contributing for a good cause.

I flew the same morning about 40 miles away with insignificant weather, though I did not leave the terminal area.

Aweful deal.
News is saying the passengers won a raffle for a flight seeing trip and wanted to see the Owyhees.
