Unusual attitudes and upset recovery training.

I did it 4 years ago with my friend Carlos Dardano (aerobatic airshow pilot, AG pilot and Airline pilot. He only has one eye and very interesting stories like landing a 737 with both engines out.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/TACA_Flight_110

He was in town for an airshow and offered me to go do some flying.

We did upset recovery training (almost inverted sometimes)
Wing overs, chandelles, full power full flaps stalling turns,(Was waiting for a spin on this one , but recovery was easy) canyon turns.
Power off stall turns.
Go around with full flaps and simulating stuck flaps
Emergency descend . Power off, full flpas push the nose down (a lot) and control speed between 80 and 90 mph, we descended at more than 2000 FPM.

Highly recommend to do this kind of training with your own airplane, it will tech you the limits and get to know your airplane a lot more.
Plus it is a ton of FUN

I never get bored of learning and practicing.

I confess Im relieved we didnt practice the impossible turn, we did it the last time like 12 times, and I think it is a dangerous and difficult manuver at 500ft, no need to do it again I think, maybe at 800 or 1000 ft yes.

You are getting a lot of good flying in. I agree on the impossible turn tightness at 500'. I was never that high but always found a good LZ in the hemisphere ahead. Only once straight ahead and that was on the runway.
