Here is what I can find from the news so far. Weather at the time was low clouds and rain, it was before sunrise. It was an Airbus A-300. They crashed 1/2 mile short of runway 18, whitch is 7000 foot long, runway 6/24 is about 12,000 foot long and usually used by planes this size. Residents about 1/4 mile before the crash site are reporting "debris on a roof" and damage to a tree and telephone pole by a house. There are also the usual reports af "it sounded like it was out of gas", "A sonic boom before it hit", and "I saw flames coming out of the plane before the crash". I don't expect any accurate news until at least 12 hours after the crash, but the "press" will report anything they can until then to try and sound like they know something. Overall a bad day for the pilots.
