Using a KMA24H to replace a KMA24?

Hey all,

I'm looking to replace the old 2-place, floor mounted intercom in my Stinson with an in-panel one. I currently have a KMA24 running as an audio controller/switchboard for my 2 KX155s, so my plan was to replace it with the -H model, gaining an intercom. The airplane does seem to be wired up front with headset jacks, though there could be cable spaghetti soup behind the panel for all I know. My main concern is just "Will the swap work?" with "how the hell do I wire this?" coming once that is figured. Thanks in advance for any help, avionics are not my realm of knowledge.
