Using BLM Overlay

So I have been enthralled with the idea a backcountry ocean airstrip. I have flown over the two strips north of Shelter Cove numerous times and had my hopes dashed when trolling the board for information. So today I was looking at the BLM maps and the private land boundaries on the trail map didn't seem to sync up with the idea that the airstrips where privately owned.

I loaded the overlay on Google Earth. Any thoughts?

Re: Using BLM Overlay

Those two strips are both privately owned within what was BLM land but now no vehicle wilderness area.

Re: Using BLM Overlay

That is the common answer I have found researching the board. I just cannot confirm that with a single map available to me, which has me thinking.......
