Utterly Shameless Self-Plug Video

Warning - Shameless Self-Promotion: I've almost completed the EZ Flap website overhaul (although nothing on the scale of what BCP has done).

As everyone knows, here in Hollywood every beautiful girl sooner or later gets replaced by a newer, younger, prettier girl. In the finest Tinseltown tradition, such was the case with EZ Flap's original poster girl. A while back we shot a product demo video with our new EZ Flap SpokesFlapModel Candace Nicholson, but the video was never embedded into the website (pending changes in the web content and site design).

http://www.ezflaphandle.com now features Candace's video front and center on the home page. That's her in the avatar on the right side of this posting.

Owners of Cessna, Stinson, and Maule aircraft can now much more easily see the improvement the product makes, demonstrated on their specific aircraft. We used a stock 1956 172, a Maule M-7-260, and a Stinson 108-3. (the Maule/Stinson sections will be applicable to fabric Piper aircraft, the Cessna sections will be applicable to metal Piper and Beech Musketeer aircraft)

The installation manual PDF files are provided, along with the FAA Approved Model List covering almost 95% of manual flap aircraft built in the US. The installation procedure is also shown in the video.

If you fly a back country airplane, and you have not seen this video, you are invited to visit http://www.ezflaphandle.com and see why we have nearly 100% customer satisfaction.

Please note the Cessna takeoff videos were shot on a 90+ degree July day using a stock 145HP aircraft.

Oh, the ignominy of it all. Once again, my P172D is left off of an AML. My poor orphan airplane feels so forlorn and left out. On the positive side, the girl is cute. :)

Has anyone come up with a solution like this for the S7 Rans?

Will yours work?

Re: Utterly Shameless Self-Plug Video

Works well on a Bearhawk, I personally test-installed it on Russ Erb's airplane and on the western US demonstrator airplane at the Copperstate Fly-in, in 2010 or 2011.

Tried to put together a marketing or OEM deal with the Bearhawk representative at Copperstate 2010 or 2011, we were unable to arrive at a fair deal.

Because the Bearhawk flap system is very close to the Piper/Maule system, it's a no-brainer installation, and it usually works very well. The Bearhawk may even need this a little more than the M-7, because I think I remember the flap system may be even a little further away... not 100% sure. I'm not a Bearhawk expert.

I have not tested this in the RANS S-7 but I would be very happy to work with any of the S-7 owners on BCP to see if this product is a good fit. The way that I've seen some of the RANS airplanes flown in videos... I am fairly sure that the pilots would see a significant benefit.

However, experimentals are all a little different, and there will surely be some seat cushion/flap lever combinations in various airplanes that may or may not require a little adjustment somewhere to prevent interference. I can solve any of these problems easily, but I might need a photograph and a couple of measurements to work from.

Lunch is on me for any Bearhawk or S-7 owner who wants to come to KWHP and let me photograph the ground test installation and post the photos on BCP.

As always for every airplane, anything less than orgasmic satisfaction with this product gets a full refund anyway, whether certified or EXP.
