Hey everyone,
Im planning on flying from Maine to Anchorage this upcoming spring and was hoping to catch the Fly In in Valdez, my question is: does anyone have the dates for the 2008 fly in? Im probably going to plan my trip around it. Also Im not sure how im going to get from ANC to Valdez but I was hoping I could just drive over there....it looks like a 5 or 6 hour drive...has anyone done it before and if so is there anything I might need to know? Driving to Valdez isnt too bad, but it takes awhile... Plan on 5-6 hours from Anchorage. Either way, its worth it !

You might also want to check out the Alaska Airmens Show in Anchorage that usually happens the weekend before Valdez. May 3-4, 2008
