Yesterday USAF did a fly-over tour of the puget sound area with two C17's to honor our front line medical workers.
And the Cascade Warbirds also did a fly-over tour, to commemorate VE day.
Didn't see either one live, but even on tv it was pretty awesome--
esp those bigass C17's flying low & slow.

Thanks for posting Brad! I would nearly everyone of us on this site have family memebers that were somehow directly involved with military operations during WWII. Those of us that have been (or are) in the military will probably say, the military life never fully leaves you even after being out for many years, even decades later it still has a place in one's heart.
