Got a call from a neighbor a little while ago and when I answered, he said "you are here". I said, yeah, so? He then told me about a plane crash at 100 Mile House, BC where I have my plane tied down and that it was a white and blue Cessna, same as mine!!!! I then tuned the news and saw a bit of info. Here is the link and about all that I know.

The one thing I can say is that the normal landing direction is from over a meadow and uphill towards town. To be landing downhill and over the town is something that I would only do with a 10+ mph wind, otherwise landing on this strip uphill is safer IMO. Very lucky not to have injuries or worse. FF
