Vick's flying across the country again...
Did you fly somewhere cool, take photos, and feel like telling the tale to make us drool from the confines of our offices? Post them up!
Best question of the trip -- why did Bill still have the keys to the Asheville rental car in his pocket hen we landed in Ga?
C'mon now- that's easy- I still aim to get that picture that I referred to!

What are these things?

These are natural gas fired generating units..probably used as Peaking units when there is a high demand for AC power as I see only steam vapor from the top units.

The faster I go , the farther behind I get.
Was there a mission here or just plane fun??
Geart pics.
My favorite.

Yeah- I like that one too- that was one we just had to get. Vick's sitting in the airplane warming the oil, and he's got such a good camera that even an idjut like me was able to blunder into a good picture!
The mission was to relocate the Stinson from the east coast to CA, where Vick is presently living. The "plane fun" was incidental...

But the real question is how can I get one of those cool "Raleigh East Airport" tee shirts?

Fantastic X country flight. The pics are great. Nothing like flying in a Vintage Stinson. Excellent looking plane. Glad you made it safe.

Keith, we'll have a new batch of shirts at this year's fly-in, 5/21. But if you want a "vintage" version, I'll bet we could find a few of those too!
