Video: To Lander

I had a dentist appointment yesterday in Lander (80 miles away from the ranch, on the other side of the Wind River range), so I decided to fly instead of drive. People ask me why I fly? This is why. It can turn a mundane trip to the dentist into an unforgettable experience.

Re: Video: To Lander

When I lived in the northwest, I did a couple of motorcycle trips around Wyoming and had a blast. I have great memories of cruising around the Wind River range and stopping off in Afton to see the planes being built. I also camped a fair amount up in the Bighorn Mountains. Beautiful country, but winters can be harsh. I'll have to come back with the airplane and leave the motorcycle at home next time! Thanks for a great video that reminds us all what a spectacular country we live in!

Good one RP, flying makes even going to the dentist fun! I just got back from a 120 mile xc, with a breakfast stop, just to try and catch a contractor at a job site who is way over due on a crane bill (6 months). I missed him but had a blast anyway :D

Great video, I think that's your best one so far! It really made me miss flying my plane.
