Video: Utah Fun

Threw together some scraps of goofing around in Utah. We didn't let cloudy skies or choppy air get in the way of our fun. Saving the best footage for the next one, when I have a little more time.

Fine video. Very good resolution.

May I ask camera type? Looks better than most.

Re: Video: Utah Fun

GoPro Hero 3 black. Mounted out on the fiberglass wingtip with a GoPro sticky mount. Not normally my favorite camera (I find the GoPros to be a little finicky), but I played with the settings a little and shot this footage slightly overexposed to compensate for the flat light caused by the cloudy conditions.

I also wrap a velcro watch band around the little mounting arm. I don't know why, but it makes a major difference in eliminating that last little bit of vibration.

Good tips!

Another one that lots of people don't know is that inside the thumbscrew for the gopro mount is a philips screw. I find that using a screwdriver to lock things down makes a big difference also.

More Colorado in that video than UT, but yes, fun none-the-less.

Good stuff, can't wait for the next one.
