Anyone ever heard of the little high school sports team out of the upper end of the Pahsimeroi valley in Idaho? They played agaist teams from Leadore, May Patterson, Challis and so on.

They couldn't decide what to call the team but finally decided to name it after the prominent caprock ridge behind town that everone called the windshield because it broke the prevailing wind. Then someone said "no we should call our team the VIPERS so they became the windshield vipers. OK

Works except for quite a few old German families around that mix up thier Ws and thier Vs Ha!!!
