Flying in formation with an F-16 is not necessarily a good thing.

Take a look at the TFR at San Jose, although later in the day, its a total mess. Just looking for free money.

The inner circle (12nm radius) is pretty much a no-fly zone. The remainder (12-30 nm radius) is flyable if you jump through some hoops: VFR or IFR flight plan, pre-assigned squawk code, 2-way coms with ATC while in the TFR. PITA but do-able if necesary.
