Half a century spent proving “it is better to be thought a fool than to open your mouth and remove all doubt.”
Gonna need a bigger hangar

It can be true, even if it didn't happen - Ken Keasey - mostly*
Man invented language so he could hide the truth from others - Tallyrand - sort of
Bit more serious - Some (how many?) STATES have their own version.

That's cool but It says the chart only depicts airports with runways over 4,000ft.... So it's pretty much worthless as far as I'm concerned!

I liked them. I used them mostly for initial course thinking....in or out of date, didn't matter. When my route was pretty much figured out I would draw the magenta line on current sectionals to navigate from. I'm old fashioned; paper, enroute time and speed checklists etc. At least when I haven't been there before.

Just bought the VFR planning chart to loosely plan an upcoming trip. It's a pretty cool map if you're a map person. It does only show paved runways over 4,000 but I've had better luck gettin gas at those.

Didn't find the actual wall art I was looking for to replace the charts, but found a couple of cool items if you have a frig in the back of the hangar.

I was always fond of the wall full of sectionals and the washer weighted measuring string.

You can still get WACs at worldofmaps.com.
Both sides of the original WAC are printed all on one (larger) side - making creating a WAC mosaic that much easier (and less expensive).
