Washington Folks input needed on Tailwheel Endorsement

I am almost done with my PVT (2 more hours of instrument!!!!!!), next step is Tailwheel. Any Washington folks around here know of a place I can get an endorsement, or anyone willing to hook me up in their plane?
I'm over in Gig Harbor right now very close to (TIW).
Thanks for your help!

Might as well make my first post helpful. :D Im in the same boat as you....just a couple hours from my checkride, after spreading it out over ten years, but that's another story.

I just recently followed my old CFI to the new FBO at KPLU. I immediately noticed they (SIMFlight/Spencer Aircraft) have a beautiful J-3 that they offer tailwheel instruction in.

ohadI,

We've got a100hp J-3 on 8.50s and a Stearman at Olympia (KOLM) :D We'll have both at the Thun Cubs and Classics August 18th.

Tailwheel training in a fat-tired 100-horse J3- that sounds like fun! Better look into that. Forgot about Mike doing t/w training when I posted earlier.
Mike, I'm guessing that your Cub is set up more like a PA-11 with wing tank(s)- do you solo from the front or the back?

No wing tank, just C-85 stroker, with 74"/42 metal Sensenich prop, 8.50s, DA safety cables and an 8" Maule pneumatic T/W. Other than that, it's stock.

Folks who are getting checked to go fly a Cub do it from the rear, but it's their choice. Some just like the front better. Some choice, either the back of my 220lb head or having the header tank in the lap:o) But that's a J-3 for ya!

I'm curious what you charge for dual instruction? Lotsa people I meet ask about getting t/w instruction.
